57..... better do them after I've waited until my other hubs get unpublished......There's a rat in my kitchen what am I gonna do?......
Deal with the rat first? Sound like you have a fun Friday coming up!
Dealt with the rat, it's in the oven now....gonna get some reggae reggae sauce for my tasty rat supper! If I deal with the broken links now I'll have more to do another day but if I don't do it, my other hubs are going to fall eventually in traffic even further.....might have to move some content around and just keep the well trafficked ones here.....
Probably a daft question, but have you asked the broken link tool to re-check? Sometimes, they are not broken after all.
Nah I dunnee bother! they still remain there as broken links, it used to be around 12, but more and more get added, I could retest them but I know that none of them will be mistakes or errors.....just have to go through sometime when I've got nothing better to do!
Ooooh don't say that - broken links will be the next excuse for getting them moderated and unpublished!
Broken links were identified by me, ones that were actually embedded in text, were not showing up as being broken. Only the links in link capsules were showing up, whenever broken.
Bunches of people's hubs have come down and if you were linked to them, then you now have broken links. I know, I went through it with the 60DC gang. I ended up with some broken links and I gave people some broken links as well, because I deleted some hubs that were part of it. Not to mention, my HubLog for the 60DC was one that was deleted.
I was only laughing at the number of broken links. It actually sad that you have to go through all your hubs to fix them and whatever else.
Yeah it's quite possible that some of them broken links are because I've deleted content and moved it to other places, others are broken because hubs have been unpublished....just think of all the broken links that other hubbers must have, that adds up to a lot of broken links and most of them would have been unpublished for something that could easily be changed with an automated email without the need to unpublish! It's ridunculous said the BFG!
Are you back in forums for good then Wayne? I believe HP is on the mend anyhow
Got it down to 43 with one hub being published wooo hooo....I feel productive to the maximum!
Now down to 24.....I'm on a roll....until the next batch of broken links!!
I have one hub that “supposedly” has broken links. When I checked them they all worked. So you tell me which one needs to “be fixed”

Whenever I have broken links in a highlighted word embedded in a hub, I am going ahead and deleting other highlighted words as well to prevent future problems. Too bad as some are undoubtedly good...but this all takes time away from publishing new hubs. Are any of you doing the same?
Still battling broken links...I get rid of a few and more pop up.....

This is a great feature HP has...flagging Hubs where links within those Hubs are broken. However, just in the last 20 minutes, four of my Hubs showed on My Account page as having broken links. Only one did. (As in, there was no yellow text when looking at those Hubs in edit mode, for three of...

Hello,I try not to make waves with "How Hubpages Operates" and I am not sure if this singular problem is having a huge effect or not. But, I've noticed that many hubs I had connected to other hubs via "embedded" links(anchored text) have not been coming up or being flagged as...

Yet on every single hub that I've made in the past 2 years: ALL links have had the .com removed. Why?

I am getting really fed up with seeing this message2 potentially broken links have been detected in this Hub. They are highlighted below. You can correct the link by editing the containing capsule. The reason is because NO LINKS ARE SHOWN as broken or potentially broken. There's nothing I can do as...

My account is showing several broken links which are not broken. They are all links to other Hubs.
