i've only been on hubpages for about four months and have 53 hubs. this month so far i've made $.17. this is going to make it difficult to live on.
while i'm writing because i enjoy it, and i realize that humor is not the best way to get higher traffic, might i be doing something else wrong thus cutting off a source of income?
as i've said, i'm writing for my own enjoyment and whatever pleasure other people might gain from my work, so i wouldn't change solely to make money.
That's a good way of seeing it Sam. Many have lost income here, but it is hardly the sort of money I could live on!
I write for the pleasure of sharing what I believe, having a laugh and providing information in my areas of expertise.
Making money from it is a bonus.
Hubpages is after all just one of hundreds of writer's sites that provide adsense and other sources of income, but this is not the way to get rich online!

When looking for information on a hub topic it is good to make sure that the information is accurate and that you have done your homework because there is nothing worse than reading an article that has false information.
