I cannot find where it says the format, font type or font size of what each article you write needs to be. If anyone can help I would appreciate.

The object is to write articles, roughly magazine type articles that give the reader something of value.
Start a New Hub, which is at the top of every page, will get you started. However, follow through on my above suggestions first.
Basically, all text in hubs follow a standard format and font. You can apply bold and italics. You can also use different headline levels to create subheadings.
