The last challenge I participated in (and stuck to) doubled my traffic here on HubPages. Even when Panda started, my traffic increased (but, sadly not to the heights it would have if the Panda hadn't attacked us.)
Nuff said! Enjoy your hub challenges! I'll be doing it again soon!
AND... Your Point Is?
Because there ain't one in your post!
The point is that it's a great way to get more traffic for those of us who are feeling the Panda slump. Just posting this for some encouragement.
I definitely only do the challenge when I'm feeling up for it, too. There are so many times where I just don't have it in me to write a bunch of hubs.
Denise, I've totally failed at the hubchallenge once or twice, but it's always nice that there are no penalties.
Horses for courses I guess melbel. I have never competed here in any of the hub challenges.
I prefer not to write unless I feel the need to.
Often I don't feel the need to.
I agree with earnesthub and that is the reason I have never competed. Having the freedom to write when you wish to is a privilege I value.
I don't see it as competing, more as encouraging each other
I do the hubchallenge as a means to motivate myself to write. But, other than the January hubchallenge, I have quite successfully failed twice. REason? I am taking a laid back attitude about it. Can I do it? Yes, I can. Do I wish to-you bet! Will I succeed? Maybe so. And, if I don't -no penalties.
I've done four hub challenges at last count and found each one helped me gain traffic without over-analyzing my current stats, as well as learn to write faster and monetize better.
Thank you for the words of encouragement! It is nice to see that people do get results from setting goals like this. I am trying to write as many high quality hubs as possible so I can reach my financial goals sooner than later!

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...

Since I haven't written here for over four weeks I want to establish a writing routine again. I find it difficult to establish a routine unless I make it official. So to get going with writing hubs again, I am embarking on a new HubChallenge. I am asking everyone to join! Why? By the end, we should...

Those of you who have completed their 30 in 30 days challenge, how did it go?Did you see any rise in traffic and profits? And how was the overall experience? As for me...I learned a lot from all that stuff Darkside, Ryan and other expereinced hubbers posted over here. Yes the traffic did rise, thus...

I'd love to know your answer to this question. And I'm not speaking of answers such as, "Finding more time to write." Let me help you out by listing a few of my own challenges. You can select one of these or add your own. Thanks for sharing. - A. Finding a...

I write 5 hubs a day. 2 of them are quality hubs that I enjoy writing and put my most effort to, the rest are there to share some kind of information I think is interesting. But these are not as good and I actually struggle to write them. So how many of your hubs are you satisfied with?

Has anyone else noticed their HubScore drop since starting the Hub Challenge? I know it goes up and down based on traffic, so you'd think with publishing more Hubs, it would go up, right? Weird.
