Hello Everyone.  I'm a new HubPage member.  I noticed on the page to apply for Google Adsense their is a message requesting to post at least one article before applying.  Does anyone know, especially those who already have Google Adsense with HubPages, how many good quality articles you must write to qualify?  I only intend to submit content that is good quality, but I want to know the average number you must submit in order to qualify so I don't keep applying and get rejected.  Are there any other tips I should be aware of before applying?  Thanks and nice to meet you all!

Its been a few years when I applied I dressed up my profile here on hubpages added article profiles from other writing sites to my profile here then wrote an article when I applied I am in the process now of updating my profile because of not writing for ehow anymore and I write for other sites so I can't say go look at my profile for an example because I deleted pretty much everything.

I don't know when the hub pages ads kick in but for a newbie they are the better bet. You don't have to apply for them. If memory serves me correctly I didn't apply for adsense until I had published 5 hubs. In reality its more about readership than the number of hubs you have written.

There are a few countries where you are not allowed to join adsense until six months pass.

Personal experience says you will do better with hub pages ads for quite a while unless you start receiving 500 or more search engine hits per hub. From that point on I have no idea, I am not there.

Thank you for your feedback!  I'll keep looking into HubPages ads also.

You must have an adsense account to use HPads, so you will have to get the adsense done before you can sign up for the HubPages ads.

It has been a year since I got my adsense account, but I only had two hubs at that point, 1 month and 2 months old.  Unlike you I didn't look around before writing a hub and didn't know you could even earn money here.  Oh well, live and learn! smile

Welcome to HP - you'll find it a great place to write, with lots of helpful hubbers.

It is good to have at least ten good hubs before you apply for adsense.. This has worked well for most applicants on hubpages.. Welcome to Hubpages and best wishes to you smile

I was told when I tried to apply to adsense-I had only one hub published annd didn'trealize that this would be an issue-that I had to wait for 6 months to apply.  Ids this because I had only one published at the time?  Or does this relate to something else, like me being from Canada?
