How long also? And what can i do to up my payment
It can take a while to start earning money, months. It can take up to 10 months to reach the AdSense payout.
You can make it faster by doing keyword research and articles that people using search engines will find.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
13, but i have some other good articles. And i can't get paid because my parents don't have jobs for me to do and i don't live in a neighborhood. But i have like at least 10 other good articles in mind. Like one is going to be about my experience at a pyschward
Unfortunately, you have to be 18 to write here.
You could write for http://www.triond.com. They pay via pay pal and you only have to be 13. They pay when you reach 50 cents in earnings.
But i don't have a credit card and my parents woulden't let me use theirs. Do you know any other sites that could pay me?
Please make sure you edit for grammar
And I'm not sure, but I don't think colloquial language is permitted. I'm still a bit new as well so I could be wrong.
The sad part is he, at 13, actually wrote an article that was more interesting and informative than a lot of adult-written hubs.
The Grammar was better than some of them too! (It does need a little work though hon)
Keep writing Pyschopath! I thought it was pretty good.
Thank you melissa! You have actually boosted my confidence to keep on writing! Now i know that my articles is worth reading
Now i know that my articles is worth reading
"....are worth reading..."
and get rid of "that"
the other stuff (like capitalization) I won't nitpick because I will presume you're just writing in the vernacular.
But yeah keep writing and start reading. Read everything!!!!! (read my hubs! ha ha jk- [kinda])
Haha thank you i'll take your advice on grammar.
LMAO Hutchinson, you do realize that most ADULTS do not know what the word vernacular means?
As for the grammar, Pyschopath, asking your teacher for help would not only improve your grammar--but might actually help you find places to write. English teachers are generally pretty good about knowing places that welcome aspiring writers.
@ Melissa .. I do:) I was hoping he would look it up if he didn't know the word's defintion.
I got a A+ in English this year like twice. My lowest grade was a B+ so i think that they will help me
Good luck to you! Those are really great grades!
Also check this out: www.creataspace.com - there you can write and self publish for free regardless of age!
How much do you get paid?
You set the price of your book and make money off whatver price you set. The higher you price yoru book, the more you get paid when it sells.
Is this just for books? Because i want to start out with articles then books when i'm like 20..?
Just books. But whose to say your book can't be a book of several articles?!
All the information you need is on the website.
Ok, thank you i'll take a look
Oh and do you guys know where i can make a website and when people visit i get paid or something like that? I thank you for all your help, i asked yahoo but all i'm getting is annoying trools
Persistency, spunk and drive....I feel like we're looking at the next Sean Parker here. Kid's gonna be something one day...that's for sure!
Not without some sort of bank account, no. You might want to check out the library for a book called "The Writer's Market" they list some magazines that want entries from non-adults. :)The pay would probably be better too.

Are you happy with your experience? I've been with HubPages for 5 years now. I have almost 500 articles and the majority of them are featured. I publish quite frequently and follow all of the rules. I post my articles to facebook and pinterest, I am part of Amazon Associates, and yet I make very...

I've read a lot about the importance of doing keyword research, but then you also get the impression that to really do that research properly can take a long time unless you get lucky early on or really know what you are doing. So I wonder, with some people pumping out huge amounts of hubs, are...

I have been on this platform for about two and a half years; however, unlike most of you here. I have not been doing my keyword research just right. Do you mind if we discuss how to do keyword research?

The Medium platform sounds great. Writers' income does not come from advertising (yay!) but from a chunk of the membership fees. But here is the catch: As a non paid up member you are only allowed to read three articles per month for free. After that, if you are interested in a topic and want...
