Take Me To The River...

Just sharing my exciting news with fellow hubbers -- just got David Byrne tickets for a show tomorrow night.  It will be my third time to see him but does not in the least reflect my (almost) lifelong adulation of him and of Talking Heads...

So any other David Byrne/Talking Heads  fans out there?  If so, what are your favorites?

There are so many, but I have always loved Naive Melody (This Must Be The Place).. incredible love song. Incredible lyrics.

I was a big Talking Heads fan in the 80s. I love Burning down the House, Take me to the River, This must be the place. I saw them in concert once with the Police.

Good to find another Talking Heads fan.  There are so many incredible songs by this band, and by David Byrne solo.  Love, love, love one of his solo albums called "Grown Backwards."

    Oh yes !

When I was playing rugby, we used to play Psycho Killer over the P.A. pre-game, and the whole team would sing along to psyche the other team out.

Worked every time. Well... most times. Well.... some of the time. smile

And of course there is Once in a Lifetime... .hope that is on his playlist tonight.  It was the last time I saw him, even though he was of course no longer in Talking Heads...
