SEO of fandom?

I recently read in a thread here on the forums that there is an SEO benefit for being on the "front page" of a Hubber's fan list.  Is this true? Is there really a benefit to this as far as the ranking and well-doing of a hubber?

Why do you think Misha joins everyone's fan club?

"Fan, you've got a brand new fan....." lol

Yeah - my first 3 fans get a PR4 backlink: Misha wasn't quick enough to get  it though LOL

Your profile is PR4 - and Google has yet to rank my profile at all, sigh. Sometimes I think Google is a linear descendant of Loki ...

Yeah, Charlotte, exactly like people say on this thread. smile

But there are some tricks and dangers to that also, and I am not going to give them up smile

Mark, I got much more sophisticated since then big_smile

The only thing I can think Jenny is that you have a lot of tags around the make money, internet marketing area - and I think you started with those tags.  These tend to get you sandboxed by G -  I stared off all over the place but have only recently added marketing and SEO my early stuff was more about travel than anything - which is probably safe as far G is concerned - just a guess though

I have ceased trying to guess about Google - that way lies madness ...

Amen! I think they get a perverse pleasure out of playing with us.

      My profile is PR3, btw.
