Thanks paradigmsearch, but I am already aware of how to use a text module. The problem is that when I click on edit button there is no menu bar which usually pops up below the "capsule subtitle box" and hence neither can i cut paste nor my cursor shows up in the text box. please help?
I get this from time to time-delete the module and create a new one and you should have no problems, it always works for me, photo capsules too.
Hope this helps!
thanks kimberlyslyrics. will try ur suggestion. also read your spoems ---very strong and wonderfully worded. I am new to hubpages but i write little something on www.shomabhagwat.wordpress.com
I tried to update some broken links in a text module. I could not get any menu, nor could I type in the text box. Then I tried deleting the module and starting over after I copied the text to the clipboard. Now I cannot do anything except type in the title of the text capsule. There is no text area, and no menu bar, and my hub now has lost a text capsule. I tried editing the other one to at least temporarily put the information back in, but that text capsule will not let me edit it either.

I just deleted an hours work, I think by pressing "X" instead of "Save" on a text capsule by mistake. It's easy to do this if you aren't concentrating. There isn't a confirmation either, although there is if the delete icon is clicked on a saved module outside of the text module...

I use the internet with Firefox. All other websites seem to load just fine, my internet connection is pretty fast, but Hubpages is getting increasingly slower for me. Also, the picture and text problem with not saving when working on a hub is still an issue. I add a picture, upload, put in a...

Hi, I noticed over the last few days that when I copy and paste my document on word into the text tool, it comes up underlined and I have to spend time correcting and removing the underlines from the text that I do not want underlined (which is majority of the text). It can be time consuming and...

I wrote a text capsule. Saved it, and it reverted to nothing.

It's not possible to use centered text in hubs, but when you write different forms of poetry sometimes centered text is a must. Shaped poetry, cinquain, diamante and more are poetry forms that will lose any significance if they can not be written in centered text. The only way to show them now is...
