Just wanted to know that I'm ecstatic at the implementation of the subdomains.
My hub was changed over to subdomains a week ago.
In the preceding 7 days, it had 1 view.
In the last 7 days, it had 11 views.
An increase of 1100%.
I'm so HAPPY !!!
WARNING: Varying amounts of sarcasm, satire, or other devices may or may not exist in this thread from time to time.
I'm happy that you're happy, Eric. I wonder how many hits were crawlers.
See all it needed was a bit of self-promotion and now you up there with the stars:)
brilliant ! and how about your other 30 accounts where you publish various articles for seo purposes ? or were they all banned due to low quality crap ? (is that why you whinge here constantly)
ROFLMAO, Eric is/was one of Hubpages greatest contributers and clearly you are unaware of this (or are hiding behind a 'sock puppet'). What he doesn't know about successfully publishing on the Internet isn't worth knowing. You should try listening to him sometime!!
Well sceptical, you should start getting very sceptical about your sources of information.
Please feel free to list my "SEO spamming accounts" here.
You've made the big statements.
Now I'm calling on you to provide some evidence to back them up.
(But I suspect that you are just an anonymous coward)
For the record, I have no accounts here that I use to publish articles for SEO purposes. And have never had any such accounts in the past.
And have never had an article or hub banned for being low quality.
So I'll be interested to see what you come up with.
kind regards,
Eric G.
P.S. And please point me to some examples of what you consider to be "whinging".
I'm always willing to improve.
P.P.S. I've tried looking at your previous posts for examples of non whinging writing, so that I can learn from you. But your 6 other posts in the last 3 years provided no inspiration.
They all seem to attack those who question the wisdom, expertise, and knowledge of one Will Apse, the current would be hubpages champion advisor on getting people's hubs ranked highly with Google.
Is he a friend of yours? It's good to support your friends.
Nicely put Eric, I wonder if the poster in question therefore is Will Arse himself based on your observations...!
I would never suspect anything like that Misty.
Will is an honourable man, and I'm sure he wouldn't dream of using sock puppets to attack me.
Whoops, just noticed a major typo I made in the last post I made. Must be the time of night I am typing this!!
Yes, that WAS unfortunate.
Never mind, I was able to work out who you meant.
PS. I would hope you are correct about the 'sock puppet' aspect Eric. After all, only a coward would not back up their opinions by using their real identity, and I would hate to disrespect an innocent Hubber who was not guilty of hiding behind a sock puppet in order to insult another highly respected hubber (such as you are known to be by so many).
Gosh Eric, so what you're really saying is 1100% percent of nearly nothing is still nearly nothing.
I think all the other rocket scientists here are going to be astounded when they figure that bit out.
Hey Sceptical.
What's up? Cat got your tongue?
Anyway while your collecting all your info, you might like to take a break and watch the latest crisis meeting at hubpages HQ.

Crazy stuff, Eric! I didn't know whether to laugh nervously or cry with the girl. LOL
I think this is as brutal as the S&P debacle, which is now being investigated by the Feds.
I don't think G can do what they continue to do without some serious repercussions in the end.
In the meantime, it makes demons and cut throats out of a lot of "content farms."
Watch and wait.
Is there a way to post that video on Google's WebMaster Help YouTube channel?
I would LOVE to see that as a video response!
I'm not familiar with the requirements of their channel, but it's just a you tube video so you should be able to post it as a response.
sceptical and his mate Will must be really working hard to find evidence to back up the claims that sceptical made.
Neither of them have had time to post on the hp forums since sceptical's post
And my post subdomain traffic stats appear to be holding up. Still around 1100% increase since the subdomain change.
Thank you hubpages

Hi all! We launched PetHelpful's Pet News category several months ago, and it's performed so well that we've begun adding news categories to other Network Sites. Each category is used by a site-specific news team here at HubPages to drive more traffic and engagement on social media, in turn...

Hey everyone,If you look at the HubPages homepage while you’re signed in, you’ll notice quite a change: we’ve moved to a Feed-centric layout (you’ll also notice that the Feed is no longer visible in the header), and made some simplifications to the interface. Kudos to Fawntia who built this great...

I am reviled yet my forums create all kinds of participation. I like and I am not going anywhere! There are some who indicated a boycott to not speak ever on what I write. They are writers heretics. I bless them and invite them to stay away. This is not written for you.Writers here are often...

I decided not to leave hubpages but since my traffic was split in half several months ago it seems as if my subdomain is struggling to get back up.We all know that Google, the internet master, prefers niches sites over content farms (sites with multiple subjects). Given the newest update and...

About a month ago, I posted a blog post and forum post recapping our response to the Google Panda algorithm update, and announcing our test of moving Hubber accounts to subdomains. Many of you volunteered to move your accounts early, and we thank you all for your interest and support. We ended up...
