Any advice and ideas on how to change that would be much appreciated.

Just quickly...the title does not let people know what it is about. I would have civil rights in there somewhere
Yep, I did that for the first year or whatever. Along with legal rights, attorneys, lawyers, contracts, lawsuits, and darn near all the other high-paying keywords that are in the subheadings.
That may be, but the way it is now, you are not giving a reader any reason to read this text. The title's got to tantalize and the text has to deliver on the title. That's not SEO...that's just responsible writing.
This is absolutely right. Your title has nothing to do with your text. "Giving Your Rights Away Because You Don't Read Fine Print," although awkward, would be a plus.
What are my Civil Rights. Does your Civil Rights still exist?
I am not very imaginative when it comes to titles. I do however get found by search engines?
Your excellent suggestion just caused me to add 3 more words to the title, apparently google loves this particular phrase.
I might shorten it to "Civil Rights: Do mine still exist?"
Aside from the title, I've also just made another counter-intuitive (or not) change. I've taken it out of the legal category and put it into politics.
As you can see, I'm grasping at straws and will consider anything even remotely plausible.
Thanks again everyone. I think I have now sufficiently re-mangled this hub enough to make google coagulate on it awhile...
Well, I've now determined that both intelligent and stupid do not seem to work. So, I've decided to go back to intelligent. Specifically, I have now implemented the kind suggestions that you guys have made in this thread. Thanks again. We'll see what happens in another 5 weeks.

Hi Paradigmsearch aside from playing around with your 'corpse' have you checked upon the backlinks of your competition - to find how, why, what, etc., gives them good SE ranking? just a thought.

Post it here...I'll start.Well, now. That was delicious... Today was not starting off well. Never did get a chance to go to the store yesterday. It was my turn to make breakfast. Did the best I could with what I had. I even put food in the bowl for the wife’s obnoxious chihuahua. The Missus walks...

Do American citizens give up their civil rights when they join the military? My husband told me that when he joined the military, they told him he was the property of the United States. That got me to wondering if that meant he lost his civil rights while he was serving in the military.

I wrote a hub about evolution which explains why Creationism, Creation Science, and Intelligent Design are not science (although they pretend to be). I can't decide which is the better title picture--the one currently on top (Man) or the second one (Ape). I keep switching them. I'm looking for...

I have an article which is performing quite decently (about 100 views a day). I want to make some changes to the title and add more content to the article to improve its views. But I am concerned that once I make these changes the current ranking of my article will be affected and it will start...

I am not an American, but what goes on in the USA is important to the world.Lincoln was a Republican and freed the slaves. One would expect black Americans to generally vote Republican. But they don't.How did this come about?

How can any American support the Republican Party???They are out of touch with reality and really don't care about the middle class and poor. We can only hope that the Hispanic people will vote for the Democrats and keep a Republican President out of office any time in the near future. Have you...
