I just posted a new hub today - Alternative Medicine - an Overview. I then received the monthly news letter from hubpages. I found that this very topic was a request. Since I already posted it, I suppose I can't take credit for filling the request. Yet, it probably should now be taken off of the request list. How do I get that done?
Just because a hub is published on a topic it doesn't mean that other cant answer the request too!
Yes Karen, that's one of the slightly annoying things about requests. I have quite a few Hubs where I've later seen a request which would have fit perfectly - but unfortunately there's no way to retroactively link an existing Hub to a request. In any case, a request can be answered by an unlimited number of people.
Answering a request gives you a little more visibility, if people are interested enough to browse through all the answers to a specific request - but it's not really that big a deal. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've just received an email from a dancer and one of her friends.I used her Youtube clip as an illustration in my Flamenco Fusion Hub. OK, I used it to illustrate what NOT to do. She sees it as a criticism of her dancing. It isn't, it's a criticism of the choreography and choice of...
