I take and edit my own pictures and It appears hubpages either thinks i'm stealing them something is wrong. It has taken down 3 hubs because of the issue. All are orginal written by me and they are my pictures. What is wrong?
Email team@HubPages and tell them the situation. I believe some people have gained exemptions once they've proved the photos belong to them.
However, as Cardisa says, the automatic filters could trip you up in future. So I suggest you also include a copyright statement in each photo caption.
It's against HP's policy to allow watermarked photos, regardless of whether or not, the pictures are yours.
Watermarked photos are banned(all of them).
Nspeel, if you are using a digital camera make sure it is not set to record time, date and other data. Some cameras will imprint stuff on the photo when snapping.
As Casgil said, all watermarked photos on HP will be flagged. The automatic filters sometimes detect them but staff will definitely flag your hub for the violation.

Are we allowed to have watermarked pictures in our hubs?I'm confused. When I look at what makes a hub featured, it clearly states, legally obtained, no watermarks. In addition, when I made my own eternal on some of my personal photos, I was told I couldn't use them. Do why do I see hubs with...

I have had a hub unpublished because I have used two photos from www.freefoto.com. In their terms it says I can use the photos as long as I give a link back, which I did.
