As a new hubber I just had my first traffic up arrow showing on one of my hubs. Still at first glance I thought that something was wrong - red colour is usually used to alert about something being wrong, like the red skull is.
If something is good I would expect it to be green or blue if neutral. This is what we normally observe on stock exchange for example.
As the colour is usually a first indication of something happening, I'm surprised with a choice on HubPages - red for good and blue for bad.
What are your thoughts on it?
I noticed after you pointed out.
In the first, my idea would be to keep only a UP bottom. Just keep the negative energy away from hub activities.
Red means your hub is blazing hot... and blue means the doldrums..
HP only wants you to notice it when your traffic is hot!!
Red is "hot" and blue is "cool." Makes perfect sense to me, especially with the arrow direction.
I like your explanation - blazing hot If only the skull wasn't red - as from the distance I don't know if I'm doing brilliantly or being in a big trouble

This site has been suggested as a way to get traffic. I spent a few hours, which turned into 3 days, to figure out how to navigate it. It appears to be a site about links, not really content, but they get angry if you...

We can't keep on dropping for ever surely? Therefore there should come a time when perhap one lucky HP writer gets a red arrow.Post and feel the envy of your fellow sufferers. I mean writers.

After several days of masses of blue arrows, its lovely to see many red ones. My traffic is almost at mid December levels. Nice. What about you? How are your traffic stats?

I downloaded the SEO Quake from Mozilla. While making comments on some of my hubs I noticed PR 2 for 4 of them and just a while ago I noticed PR 1 for 1.......are those good?
