i just went to my hubpages and there all highlighted in red for needs revision.they were all just fine a few minutes ago.i just got finished pinging one of them could this have caused it ?what do i do ?how long will it last?

No pinging will not do that to your hubs. If your hubs were pulled and say "need revision", then you will have to edit them and revise them before you can publish them again.

Secondly, you should have received an email for each one that was pulled down.

Yes, you need to understand what the violation is, so you can correct it.

I agree with Cagsil above me; pinging does not affect a hub needing revision. It will last however long it takes you to revise them. smile It is not uncommon for a hub to be fine one minute and need revision the next because sometimes it takes days, weeks or longer for a problem to be noticed. After you fix the problem, the moderators are typically pretty quick about republishing (in my experiences anyway). Have you read through the HubPages FAQ? You may find answers as to why your Hubs may need revision. Don't worry...it's happened to most of us. smile

No. I use the same pictures on multiple hubs. However, as I said, you should have been sent an email from HP about why they were pulled. If not, then Email Staff at Team@Hubpages.com and someone will tell you why.

Edit the hub and read what it says at the top.  That will tell you what problem they were flagged for

I looked through several of the hubs, all with about the same result.

All are quite short, around 300 words or less.  Considering the short length there are a lot of spelling and punctuation errors.  Several had formatting problems, with large blocks of white space and capsules set to one side and nothing next to them.  Grammar could use touching up.

The links I checked looked OK with no problems.  There aren't too many amazon or ebay capsules.  Subjects looked OK to me.  Pictures were OK to my untrained eye.

None of the problems I noted were severe, but taken all together might have resulted in a "poor quality" rating for too many hubs and HP has simply unpublished them all.  At this point I think your best bet is to talk to HP using the link Cagsil provided.  Something is generally wrong with most of the hubs or they wouldn't all be taken down at once, and if you try to fix each one with the wrong fix you will be wasting a lot of time and trouble and HP will get tired of rechecking them.  Find out what is wrong before proceeding.

Your hubs would have a warning right on top in the black header..( which is visible only to you) that would help you correct the issue. If it is marked substandard for short hubs look up substandard hubs in the FAQ section which would give you a fairly good idea of what to do. Likewise for other violation..there are explanations available in the FAQ section.
I ping most of my hubs so that is never an issue.
