Backlink to your subdomain? or backlink to your hubs?

Since the subdomain switch have you been backlinking to your hubpages profile?

Has this worked work for you? Do you get many views through your profile?

Do you think it's worthwhile backlinking to your subdomain?

With a profile like cyclingfitness I was hoping that backlinking might help raise my profile's serach engine ranking. Do you think this works for subdomains?

Or will it be better linkings specifically to hubs?

It would be interesting to get others' opinion on this?

That's a darned good question, especially when applied to a specific-topic domain such as yours. If it was me, I'd do both. As to ratio, I have no idea.

You should treat the promotion of your pages like you would your own website imo.

My links are recommendations for people to look at content.  I think to the hub that contains the specific information I feel they might want to see.

Maybe I should do a bit more backlinking to my profile!
