I just signed on and went to leave a comment. Now it asks for your name and you have to sign in to leave a comment. This is new to me!
It might be you have to provide some sort of name to leave a comment...even if it is just, "me". You don't have to have an account to leave a comment, though. Unless they changed things, but I doubt it, because I just approved some comments from people without accounts. It just shows up as a name, no photo or photo box next to the name.
This was really strange, because it was a fellow Hubber that I follow. She had made a comment that she tried a recipe of mine and liked it. I had made a comment previously to her on the same subject, and I didn't have to sign in. Maybe it was just a fluke, because it just happened that one time. Thanks Anna

Thsi has happened a lot and generates a lot of questions in my mind. For example; If the hub is on back pain and...

Why is HubPages making me sign in again every time I try and leave a comment on a hub? It's even happening when I reply to comments on my own hubs! It's just really annoying!

Do you think that too many people are just leaving generic comments?Do you think that too many people are just leaving generic comments, without actually reading your hub fully, in order to improve their score and level up the commentator accolade?
