The new link capsules are tricky--they are posting multiple links of the same link and when I delete the multiple links they still show up....:0
Hi Answer Man,
Thanks very much for reporting this. Does this problem occur every time or did it just occur once?
Could you list out the steps you followed when you had the problem.
There is a known problem with the link capsule where if you hit the "remove" as the first thing you do, a problem occurs. This will be fixed over the weekend. To get around this issue, just hit "edit" on any of the remaining links when a problem occurs.
Based on your description, it sounds like you may be hitting something else. If you list out the steps you did, I will be glad to see if I get the problem too.

Why is it that excessive links to Amazon products seem to be permitted when they are added to the body of hub rather than as a Module on the side? In my naivety, I did not realise that this was permitted. ...

I've seen some hubs with affiliate links on them... such as from Commission Junction. Is there a HubPages policy on using these types of links?
