I got a 'This Hub needs to be revised before it can be published' note on a recent hub I did titled "Collected Scratchings" that stated 'A substantial portion of the content on this hub appears on other pages' - these were all original poems that I wrote and have not published anywhere, not on another hub here or anywhere else . . . what gives? I was told to 'contact us' - who is the 'us' I need to contact? The hub is at . . .

      relache,

That link only clarifies that 'substantial similarity' issues can be included in the moderating of delicate content - these are poems . . . I have a couple of other hubs that feature poems, but not these poems and not any that could be counted as having a 'substantial similarity'.

Have you ever posted those poems ANYWHERE else online? Facebook? Entered them in a competition on a site like poems.com?

I'm sure I have not - I may have shared 1 or 2 of them privately with an individual online, like in an email, but I don't think I've even done that . . . if any of them were ever posted anywhere online publicly it would have been like 20 years ago on the old FidoNet BBS and I don't think I ever did that - I think there's been some kind of mistake in marking my hub as duplicate or substantially similar material.

OK. The best thing to do then is contact them by the email above or through the contact form: http://hubpages.com/contact_us/

It can take longer over the weekend to get a reply.
