When I saw this title in the forum listings, my first thought was 'what is this nut up to now?'  (affectionately, of course)  I would like to read the foundations policy first.  If I have to leave the planet, I probably won't join unless you can do it virtually.

        1. paradigmsearch profile image61
paradigmsearchposted 12 years agoin reply to this

The Foundation policy is to accept all money given to it.

The Andromeda visitation requirement has been temporarily suspended.

See, this is why I don't join these foundations.  They all start out with high ideals.  As soon as they get their money, they leave the planet with their robotic bimbettes in their Starship 40000 purchased with members' money.

It's only a Starship 200. As for the bimbettes, that is an excellent idea.

Did you go to my profile page or directly to my website and proceed from there?

Are you outside the U.S. so that it would take awhile for it to show up?

Out of concern I made a donation to myself again, to be sure everything was working OK. My test transaction showed up within 5 minutes, both on the paypal site and in my email inboxes.

That's actually Seoul, Tennessee.  I meant Soul, Tennessee which is really Hendersonville, Tennessee where they sometimes eat soul food up on Free Hill Road. They also have a lot of soles running across the bridge during the Music City Marathon.  But not too many Catholics so they don't celebrate All Souls Day.  They're big on Halloween Eve, though, when all the souls come out to play.

                    Where's my penny?

        Dear Paul,

And btw... I would be happy to work part time. As in no medical insurance and all that other stuff that various regulations torture employers with.

In fact, I even have an old company name that I can still use. That means you would not have to pay social security or any of the other taxes, etc. Those taxes would be happily paid by me.

        Sincerely,

        - paradigmsearch

I shall entice Paul as follows... (hopefully, he hasn't seen my other half-dozen postings of this lyric, sorry, can't help it, it's my mantra apparently.)

                A long long time ago
                I can still remember how
That music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while
                But February made me shiver
                With every paper I'd deliver
                Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step
                I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside
                **The day the music died**
                So

                Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey in Rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Did you write the book of love
And do you have faith in God above
If the Bible tells you so?
Now do you believe in rock and roll?
Can music save your mortal soul?
And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

Well, I know that you're in love with him
Cause I saw you dancin' in the gym
You both kicked off your shoes
Man, I dig those rhythm and blues
I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck
With a pink carnation and a pickup truck
But I knew I was out of luck
                The day the music died
                I started singin'

                Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey in Rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Now, for ten years we've been on our own
And moss grows fat on a rolling stone
But, that's not how it used to be
When the jester sang for the king and queen
In a coat he borrowed from James Dean
And a voice that came from you and me
Oh and while the king was looking down
The jester stole his thorny crown
                The courtroom was adjourned
                No verdict was returned
And while Lenin read a book on Marx
The quartet practiced in the park
And we sang dirges in the dark
                The day the music died
                We were singin'

                Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey in Rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Helter skelter in a summer swelter
The birds flew off with a fallout shelter
Eight miles high and falling fast
It landed foul on the grass
The players tried for a forward pass
With the jester on the sidelines in a cast
Now the half-time air was sweet perfume
While sergeants played a marching tune
We all got up to dance
Oh, but we never got the chance
Cause the players tried to take the field
The marching band refused to yield
Do you recall what was revealed
                The day the music died?
                We started singin'

                Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey in Rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Oh, and there we were all in one place
                A generation lost in space
With no time left to start again
So come on Jack be nimble, Jack be quick
Jack Flash sat on a candlestick
Cause fire is the devil's only friend
And as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage
                No angel born in Hell
                Could break that Satan's spell
And as the flames climbed high into the night
                To light the sacrificial rite
I saw Satan laughing with delight
                The day the music died
                He was singin'

This'll be the day that I die

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away
I went down to the sacred store
Where I'd heard the music years before
But the man there said the music wouldn't play
And in the streets the children screamed
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed
But not a word was spoken
The church bells all were broken
And the three men I admire most-
the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost-
They caught the last train for the coast
                The day the music died
                And they were singing

My perception of a very nice life....

Currently things look very not well. I am eligible for social security as of July 2012. As things now stand, I will not make it. I worked my entire life. I will spare all the details of the trifecta of events that brought me down. A nice life indeed would be to work for HP a few hours a week. I want to be a productive citizen. I want to live...

Doesn't sound quite so daunting when you look at it that way does it? In fact, it's achievable. Unfortunately however, it may require doing some crappy writing jobs that you'd rather not do. Dry, techy, boring topics, that also pay. You could easily make fifty dollars a day doing this, you could make more.

If I could turn the page
      In time then I'd rearrange
      Just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

      But I couldn't find a way
So I'll settle for one day
      To belive in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies

      Although I'm not making plans
      I hope that you understand
      There's a reason why
Close your, close your, close your eyes

      No more broken hearts
      We're better off apart
      Let's give it a try
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)

The Paradigmsearch Foundation is now closed to hubbers. However, it will remain open to non-hubbers until the end of the year. Who knows? It's Christmas season and any small donations could add up. Each one will give me an extra little increment of time.

I am now officially in COMBAT MODE:

I, paradigmsearch, when obstructed in every way possible, from every direction possible, do hereby incorporate Combat Mode. This means that, no matter what, at least one significant item gets done every day. In other words, if I go down; I go down fighting.

I will keep the Death Clock going for everyone's amusement. smile

Some notes about the Clock. I've got no less than four different train wrecks looming on the horizon. As such, the clock can only be a guesstimation of when the death blow occurs; if it does occur. This means the clock numbers could suddenly jump 30 days or more in either direction without warning. Or the numbers could remain static, i.e.: on hold due to conflicting information. It all depends on what little surprises are in store for me. If the clock numbers get really low, I probably won't be too inclined to make the final updates. So, in that case, if my hubtivity suddenly ceases, you will know that I lost the fight.

The war games have now begun. Except it is no game.

And another note. Excepting for my Death Clock number updates, all of my other forum posts will be positive and cheerful. smile

      Death Clock: 120 days.
