      Hey Wavegirl what a great thread to start on Thanks Giving, The best thing that
      has happened to me because I joined Hubpages apart from making me a Multi-Millionaire in page views rather than money lol is the friends that I have made on the site.
      The biggest surprise that i have had since joining Hubpages is that people actually read my hubs and comment on them.

         That is what happens when you are :
         
         A- A good writer
         B- Someone who reads and understands TOS
         C- A great guy that writes about things he knows and understands!
         
         As far as I am concerned you fit each and everyone of the mentioned above!

    First of all, what a great topic this is, wavegirl! It's a nice change of pace, more than overdue.
    
    I love Hubpages, too.  Not only have I met some fantastic people, but it's given me opportunities and exposure I wouldn't have otherwise had.  I believe my writing has improved, I've learned a lot through research and reading other people's hubs.  The contests have been soooo much fun, especially this last one.  The talent here is just unbelievable.   
    
    HP is like my home.  I go "other places", but it just doesn't feel the same.  I definitely have a sense of loyalty towards HP...

    I am pleasured in myself when I get the big score and hugs from HubPages.
    
    Many times I copy words into the computer and they get a big ranking.
    
    Each tiems I have righted the words my  English it has improven until I am speaking like a whore.
    
    Lovely HubLadies all ask me for my person in their marriage and I can only ask for small cheques in return.
    
    All jokings apart - I am deeply rewarded in my hole to have such a good software and writings place for me to make big words and some money.
    
    I am have improved beyond the tape measure since joined up.
