Need Advice on Category?

    Hey Veteran Hubbers,

Recently I published a new hub and the title of the hub-

New HubPages Members Guide To HubPages

Now, I am curious which category would be best for this hub.

Presently, I have categorized the hub under-

HubPages Tutorials and Community -> Help for New Hubbers -> the HubPages Guide

Now, I am working on another HubPages hub and realized that there might be a better category for the hub above, which is why I am seeking advice.

It can possibly go under several other categories, such as-

HubPages Tutorials and Community -> Overview of Hubpages -> Getting Started with Hubpages

Hubpages Tutorials and Community -> Overview of HubPages -> What is Hubpages

HubPages Tutorials and Community -> Advice and Tips for New Hubbers -> Introduction to HubPages

So, any input would be helpful. The link is below.

When I was new, I looked first to the "Help for New Hubbers" category and also at the "Advice for New Hubbers" one.  I think your guide (which is excellent, by the way) falls well into the category you initially put it in, but I would suggest maybe taking out the last section: "the HubPages Guide."  You made a great guide, but I would hate to see it buried in that section.  I hope this helps.

I guess it's really up to you!

Maybe look at what other hubs are in those categories and see how similar they are to yours?

I wonder how many people actually look for them via the categories. I guess if you want your hub to be noticed first, put it in a category with not many other hubs there, so yours is more likely to be featured.

HubPages Tutorials and Community -> Help for New Hubbers
HubPages Tutorials and Community -> Advice and Tips for New Hubbers

Either of these would work for your hub, I think - just leave off the last selection, as brittanytodd suggested.

I sometimes only go "two deep" into a category, usually because the last sections don't fit exactly, while the broader category fits better.
