Does anyone know what the code is to get a "Join HubPages" link that has your tracking token in it to open in a NEW window?
I know how to insert the standard signup link, but I would like one that opens in a new window.
Thanks in advance!
Edit the html and after the " in your link press space then _target=blank or something. Wait let me get it to you
Hmmm. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
This would be my normal code: http://hubpages.com/_facebook519/user/new/
But when I try adding the extra stuff at the front and end it just ends up with a broken link.
I'll keep playing with it...but if someone knows what I'm doing wrong...I would appreciate it.
You can't edit the html on your profile. You can only do it on your hubs. So there's no way you can get it to open in a new tab from your profile. Mine's the same and everyone elses is as well
But when you edit your hub and add a new text capsule on the top left where options for blod, italic, etc. come click html or edit html what ever it is. Once you get that you'll notice your link as
<a href="http://hubpages.com/_facebook519/user/new/"> edit it to make it <a href="http://hubpages.com/_facebook519/user/new/" target="_blank">
Ah!!! You, my friend, are genius.
Thank you! Worked like a charm.

I like to make links so they open in a new window. That way if they go to that link and then click on another link and another link and another one they will not lose the article. Can it be done and how do you do it? I know html.

Is there a way to include a hyperlink to another website without transfering the user away from Hubpages? In other words, is there a way to force a new window so that the original page is still present?

When creating links in the link boxes, is there a way to get them to open up in a new window? If not this is a much needed option to provide convenience for HubPage visitors and improve visitor retention.

A reader noted that he would have liked to see the links in my posts open in a new tab/window so that he could easily look at and reference multiple articles at the same time. I don't think this is necessary on all links, of course. But I do think that especially on links that go away from...

I've been trying for months to get my Pnterest traffic back to my hub pages. I just found out that my Pinterest pages go to a hubpage on Pinterest that is totally unorganized, they would never find my stuff! WHY aren't my links coming back here to my Hubpages? Am I missing some thing? I don't want...
