When I attempted to read a Hub, this huge ad floated up and covered the entire page. Had I been an outside reader, I most likely would have left. Is this the correct Topic to report this problem? I was on this Hub:

Of course YOU didn't see the ad. The ad isn't for HubPages members.

It is always best to read hubs being logged into your account.

When I reread the Hub, this didn't happen again. I still have the screenshot but cannot figure out how to make it bigger. Thanks, H-bird.

I've got these big ads on my own hubs they are huge ads from the right sidebar and there's an option to reduce them. I wonder what visitors will think about them..

When I am on a website and that happens, I leave. It is hard to read something and remain interested when an ad is flashing, floating or screaming. I daresay many other visitors might leave also. That is why I started this thread because I think HubPages frowns on this type of ad.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I have been getting them even while I am signed in. I didn't know if it was from my end or HP. I am finding them annoying.

I was signed in also when it happened to me. And the Hub I was reading had nothing to do with the type of ad that floated up and covered the screen. That kind of "in your face" advertising turns me off and I would never click on something like that.

This one doesn't look as big as the one you got, but still a bit irritating.
Edit: Stupid HP uploader keeps making them super tiny, heres the full size:

This is really getting to be a problem. Perhaps we should send emails to the HP staff. I don't know if they saw this thread or not. Thank you for posting on here. The more we document the better HP can do something to resolve this problem.

I haven't seen them, but that can't be very attractive to readers. Staff needs to look at this.
