Hi I'm not from Britain and the Leader of the labor party Ed Miliband (atleast that's what it says on his profile) is following me. Does he follow just random people trying to gain popularity or something? I wonder how he found me.. I wonder whether there's someone hired to add people because he's got 44k in his circles
Personally, I would do nothing. It may be a scam and it may not. Try posting a "Vote Conservative" message and see whether he continues to follow you if you are particluarly worried...
People who I don't know end up in my following circle. I have setup several different circles on Google+, friends - acquaintances and those who follow me.

I have all hubbers in following as well even ones that I know well as none of my friends and family know about my hubs I don't like known people reading my work

Before following someone, at least you should read his/her hub or profile. I think, there are many reason rather than his or her beautiful face to follow him/her.

How do you know whether a hubber is active or not?Should we look at the last post or the last activity?I came after a gap of few months. Was looking for people whom I can follow. Looks like many are idle for months or weeks together
