Maybe I am going a bit senile, but I am trying to add a Christmas gift card into an Amazon capsule - but when you go to select the card you want in Amazon it is all personalized and there does not appear to be a "single" page whose URL you can copy and add to your capsule!!
Maybe I am just missing something obvious...........
Find the gift card page copy the URl & post it into the search box
Thats the problem.... if you go to the page on amazon it is all "personalized"... you need to select the picture, message, amount, etc.. and at the end it just gets added to the cart! There does not appear to be a "single" page with a URL that is recognized by our capsules!!
Does that make sense??
Could be that Gift cards earn no commission therefore not designed to fit in advertising capsules (my speculation)
You can add by just doing a keyword search, but I don't seem to be able to find a way to add specific cards....
Amazon.com $25 Gift Card (0108)
Amazon.com $50 Gift Card with Gift Box
Or you can. .. .
Make a text capsule and anchor text Holiday Gift Card or whatever it is u want to call it...
go to the page of the gift card.. .then at the top left when you are signed in to your account you will see "Link to this page" click on it..
a small box will open 'Customize and Get HTML and you want to click the tab for text only'
then copy the code by starting with http://www.amazon.com and end the copy when you see the ASIN #.
what you copy is what you will use for your anchor text.

Now that we are 'all in this together' so to speak with the new HP Amazon program, it is in all our interests to get as many sales as possible, as we will all benefit.I'll start. If your hub is all about cleaning carpets, for example, a hub entitled How to Clean Carpets may encompass all if your hub...

So, this is the third time HP has snipped Amazon from my hubs. Every time one of my Hubs is edited by HubPages to add to a network site they snip any Amazon capsules on the Hub. The Amazon capsule is always extremely relevant to the topic discussed and is not spammy, yet HubPages doesn't seem to...

We are working to track down an issue with the site that we think may be impacting traffic indirectly. So, until we can be sure we've identified the issue and developed proper fixes, we are going to revert the Amazon capsule back to its previous state and we are going to remove the QnA and...

I understand the rationale for removing amazon capsules. I'm very careful not to include amazon capsules unless they are 100% relevant, and I can provide a personal opinion. I rarely do more than one per hub.HP is not only snipping amazon capsules on hubs for niche sites, but also just to have a...

If one is left behind in technoogical race, he is always at a loss. It always hurts me that there is no provision for pasting a HTML code at hubpages. There may be a policy of HP for not including this element. All the hubbers loose greatly on this account. Although I am sure some of...

For my first hub I asked my mom if it would be alright for me to do a review of her book. She agreed and I wrote one up. I intended to post a link from my hub to her book on amazon, however, upon further reading I read it is generally a good idea to have one or two hubs already posted before I try...
