Why am I doing this and wasting my time? Did you ever ask yourself something like that ?
Yes, i do.
But when i see the revenue i have earned, i start writing a new hub. :-)
Why do you think you are wasting your time?
Are you not having fun? If you are not, then, yes, this could be a waste of your time because earning money this way is hard, hard work. Quite possibly it's too much work for some if they don't get some enjoyment from it.
Think I've maybe taken a different meaning from this question than others. I didn't read it as meaning anything specific to Hub Pages, so my earlier reply was in general terms...
I ask that question when I have to sleep I have things to do like write, research, organize and manage my offline life got to learn to just sit, breathe and have patience and things work out well in the end.
Many, many times, for a great many years. I then learned a very valuable lesson. Whenever I found myself thinking that way, I decided I wasn't going to take part in that activity any more - whatever it may be - and I moved on.
I wish I had learned the lesson as a younger man but it has been said for millenia that wisdom comes only with age...
I often feel like this. Only today, I asked myself "what am I doing in here?" And I was in the toilet.
I don't understand why you would think this is a waste of time? If you don't enjoy writing, then I'd do something I did enjoy. I personally like to express myself about different subjects. I may not be the best writer in the world, but I sure enjoy trying. If you really do feel like you are wasting your time, maybe you should quit trying.

What lesson did you learn post the 2016 election of Trump? This is not a trick question. It is addressed to anyone, no particular political group. I am a conservative and I did not support either candidate. However, I also learned an important lesson. The lesson I learned is that politics is a nasty...

Why do people ask writers where they get their ideas from so often?I'm not even a famous author but I get asked where I get my ideas from at least once or twice a month and much more frequently when I have a piece go viral online. Famous authors seem to get that question again and again. Why...

How many hours do you waste per day?Lollygagging and schlepping wastes a lot of hours when we know we need to focus on getting tasks done. Depending on the day, I probably waste between 3 and 5 hours. And you?
