Hello, I recently started a campaign with adsense to advertise my own site but have yet to receive a single click after a week.
Can anyone tell me if they have used adsense to advertise their own site and was it effective?
If you mean AdWords:
I've had some success with it. It's the one place where google wants you to spam with keywords right into the ground. They even tell you what keywords to use to do it.
I used it for a business plan writing site i had and it worked well, the only problem is to make sure you target keywords with buying intent and avoid broad match unless you have a large budget.
