It usually helps if you write something to actually earn anything on here...

    Step Outta The Shadows!!

Without any avatar picture you just look like a spammer.

So the first thing you do is to consider how you look to others! smile

This is not a get-rich-quick site and takes a lot of effort to learn the ropes.

Visit the learning center on site... but get your Bio and profile pic sorted if you want anyone to take you seriously!

Yes, what Pearldiver said! I'm still brand new to Hubpages, but the best way to learn is to research and read all the great resources that are already out there.

First and foremost, write something people will want to read. Then go to "my account" and click on the Earnings tab and check out HubPages Earnings Program. It shows you ways you can earn money. It's a slow process so you will need to be dedicated and patient.

First you need to publish some hubs, and then try to get traffic by sharing your hubs on social networking sites, or forums that relate to your hub topics etc. You should also interact with your fellow hubbers (answering questions, taking time to read and comment on their work). You also need to tell your audience what you are all about, if they find your bio interesting, then chances are they will return to your hubs at some point. Make your hubs more personal by uploading a picture of some kind. Evntualy people will begin to follow you and you will notice your traffic improving too. It takes time to make money on here, but if you put in the effort you will soon see the rewards.

In order to make money on Hubpages; write articles, add keywords, sign up for the different ad programs, write a lot more articles, wait for them to be searched and read and hope that people read them. After all of this, people clicking on the ads in your articles are what makes the money. Some of us wait years before we make any money. This is not an instant money maker.

Just start writing, but make sure your hubs are minimum 400 words in length those are the ones that will earn more.
