Hello guys and girls!
I just wanted to mention that I've deleted my 19 worst performing hubs, in an attempt to see if that will get me more traffic. If it works, I'm happy. If it doesn't work, those hubs weren't getting any views (actual value varying between 0 and 3 views per day) anyways.
If I don't forget, I'll let you all know how it goes in the upcoming hours and days.
Wish me luck!
Hey WinterFate,
Before you go purging your hubs that are not getting traffic, I would highly suggest you post a few links in the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread and get some people to critique your hubs.
It's always helpful to get other people's point of view. Just a thought.
After 24 hours any hubs you have deleted will be gone for good and you won't be able to get them back.
I went back and checked out the deleted hubs again and, while most of them are basically junk (easier to just delete them than fix them for various reasons), I have a few that can probably be saved. I'll bring those back and post them in the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread ASAP.
Thanks for the thought Cagsil!
P.S: You don't have to capitalize the f in Winterfate. I only have it capitalized in Facebook because I followed the first name/last name format. ;P
I am in the cleaning up process too but what I am deleting are short comments and comments with spelling mistakes and other errors.

Some of us have mentioned deleting low-performing articles from your Hubs. I sense they do it because it increases views/impressions. How does that increase views/impressions?

Some people say you should never, ever delete a hub...only edit it and such. What makes you just completely trash your own hubs?

I joined HubPages about 1 year ago and I have only written 13 hubs. Out of these 13 only 2 hubs are getting good traffic. That's why I deleted 11 hubs and left these 2 hubs on here. I'm not sure if I should go on with writing here. I think I would still keep my account because I like the HubPages...

How many times do you edit an idled Hub before deleting it? Or do you keep it idled so that links to it are still good? Also, for what reasons do you either leave it idled or delete it or still try to fix it? I have one Hub which I've edited a few times, and this last time after I edited it, it...

Fellow Squid refugees, as many of us come to the end of our first full month on HubPages, I'm wondering how those edits are coming. What's been your process for slogging through the old lenses, to turn them into shiny new hubs?

Have you ever chosen to delete any of your hubs?If so, why? Did it have the affect that you were looking for?
