I have occasionally note this hubber

    http://danaray.hubpages.com/

    whose account state is

    No of hub = 123

    Hubber score = 5

    Hubber for = 5 months

Any one know what is the reason for such a low hubber score?

    It's now 4. big_smile

There's a lot of obvious stuff wrong there, but the hub I looked at seemed OK. If all 100+ of them are like that, then it is indeed puzzling.

5 months plus 123 hubs, and traffic still not even a 1000 is also puzzling.

They are self promotional to another site.

that is a fascinating coincidence...This author and the one flagged here http://chickie99.hubpages.com/ are both referencing the EXACT same domain in each and EVERY one of their hubs.

There was a debate on another hub whether this was considered to be excessive, but they smartly stay under 2 links per hub.

Either that, or the domain they are linking to extensively is one heck of a web site!

Linking repeatedly to the same domain across all hubs or many hubs is also overly promotional, so that may well explain the low score.

That's what I thought too, but here is the discussion about whether that is still the case or not.

OK, thanks. And here are the rules. The issue with linking to the same domain in multiple hubs is that the account may be considered set up to promote another site or business, as mentioned in the introduction.
