   My gorgeous wife, everything to me.
   My 2-year old boy, so happy and loving.
   My sweet baby girl, 23 weeks and still growing inside her mom.
   My wonderful pure-bred puppy, being trained for handling, obedience, soon to start junior showing, and later trained as a service animal.
   
   Those are the things I'm happy about right now.

   My two grown sons and daughter who make whatever crap and foolishness there is in the world, and in life, not matter all that much.
   
   ...and this particular Winter, which has brought us little more snow than a rare morning dusting, no "dead-of-Winter" ground, and January sunsets like yesterday's, below.(and sort of captured in bad cell-phone photography, on an ordinary trip to an ordinary grocery store on an ordinary day.)

    I actually slept 6 1/2 hours straight through last night.
    
    My mother made awesome Italian wedding soup. (Probably why I slept so well)
    
    I'm getting good money back on taxes this year.
    
    I have a sense of humor.
    
    I have a boutique in my living room.
    
    I got 2 chapters done on my next book.
    
    I cooked a turkey yesterday crispy skin and delicious just because I could.

    Goerge Clooney winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor this year. 
    
    I had Popeye spicy chicken yesterday.

    I've got immediate access to clean, fresh, ridiculously good tasting water. Every day.
    
    I don't have to walk barefoot through a RoundUp ready field of Monsanto's soybeans to sell my mother's tortillas.
    
    My 25 year old Ralph Lauren comforter is still in pretty good shape. I love that comforter.
