This person is banned http://kikilari.hubpages.com/ yet he keeps insulting me in status post on my feed, under where it says who I am following.
How can that be possible?
It does say so on his profile...Does it take 24 hours like a deleted hub for the ban to start taking effect... not sure just guessing.
Yea they did the follow thing with me too, though left no comments.
I guess I didn't register too high on their 'interest' monitor
Even their profile is banned?
Kikilari started following me 9 hours ago! Go figure.
I think it's great that he/she has been banned.
We need more of that..
No idea, I'm assuming the crazy comments he or she kept making.
The comment that I got was a complimentary one... certainly not something that one would be banned for! Unless they were banned for being nice to PD!
Ah ! That is it PD... that is really it! You got the guy banned for being nice to you
He left me fan mail saying:
"Why don't believe in God"
Just ignored it and didn't think much of it until i now saw this forum.
"Funny" guy. Must have contacted most members of this community.
The latest comment to me might give you some example of why he/she was banned.
In response to what I said
"You seem to have me mixed up with someone else. All I ever did was disagree with you. You just can't handle that not everyone believes the same as you do. I am not one of those who go on the forum and insult people for their beliefs but I will stand up to what I believe and I will speak out when people...you...are rude and insulting. As not all believers are pushy and rude, not all athiests harass people."
"You can't take the truth. God said hate the bad. God said love the good. Does the Holy Bible insult you? Why is that? Holy Bible does offend people. Why is that? I am sorry, but why does questions insult you :-). Why don't you answer those questions? Why are you afraid of thought of God? What is going on? You are harrassing me by commenting on other people's stuff. You are trying to pick a battle, but you can going somewhere else with it. James 4:4 If you are part of this world, then you are God's enemy. Have a great day. You are just causing an arguement with me lol."
I probably should just have ignored him Just another reason for me to stay away from the religion forums and never to comment.
I feel sorry that it came to a ban on Kikilari. I am the first to say Hurray when a nuisance is no longer bothering us, but for his/her sake I feel it was probably some kind of loneliness causing the problem. Or maybe someone has filled his/her mind with such fanaticism and bible-thumping that their is no independent thought left.
Either way, that person has now missed out on some socializing with a good diversity of people.
Not a all, apparently. This person just became a follower of mine and posted a comment which showed up on my feed. Not merely a short comment either, but a huge rambling religious bunch of nonsense. Obviously he/she/it is easily penetrating HPs barriers against such. Makes one's account here feel secure, eh wot?
uninvited writer: You know that I respect you as a writer...but, I did not really find either comment offensive... people are entitled to what they believe in and that is just the way it goes. Does not make the point of view right or wrong...it just makes it ... real.
He followed me and left 'Fan mail' saying that he could not be silenced. I denied it and then HP banned him - looks like silenced to me
Yay, i'm still getting hate mail from kikilari, trying to figure out myself how it is still coming through today. lol
He was already banned, Tony! Has been for awhile now. It makes HP look bad but apparently no one is watching the store. I certainly hope they didn't go off and leave their nuggets unprotected!
Yay i recieved one at 4 p.m. from kikilari today, just reported it Randy, but seems Kiki is getting through some how. lol
This isn't new, Hattie! If you read the OP's post it indicates this was first reported by Susan almost 30 hours ago. HP staff are probably not working today as evidenced by this and other weird happenings taking place this weekend.
I got an email today and they asked me when it happened and where.
you guys are nuts
great sense of humor I mean ,well y'know what I mean.
Wolfman been havin a ball by the looks of things.
The Mountain Oyster Harvest is in Full Swing!
Shall I courier a few packs of Mixed Nuts for Valentines?
Because we wonder why someone banned by the site can still follow someone...
It will be to do with the sheep and his ability to sneak up behind them!
If we were all sheep, we could RAM home the message, short and sweet! Up the Keiber Pass too!
Interestingly many back country farmers continue to prove that with wearing knee high boots throughout the occasion they can mimic Rams without wearing a fleece!
Apparently Sheep always forget to look both ways! Wolves are pack animals.. therefore there is more than a singular entity with mounting ambitions among the flock.
Nice pic... that could raise a pulse or two out there in the back hills of Baaaahsville!
"Dirty Deeds Done with Sheep"
Sorry. I couldn't resist!
Whatever he/she said couldn't have been any worse than some of the comments and inferences in this thread.
Well.... You know what they say in the Religious threads.... If you don't like it.. Don't participate!
A sense of humor takes many forms... it's a pity sniping does as well huh?
"Religious" people (usually Christians) don't mind if other people participate in a religious thread; it's just that they often have to defend themselves against people who make outrageous insulting hateful lewd or harrassing posts.
Has nothing to do with free speech from that standpoint, and everything to do with common courtesy and integrity which is sadly lacking from many people.
Hey I don't know why you're howling at me for... I sent you a Valentine Card!
If it fits... It might change your life!
Yeah, I saw that thread.
Well, I actually did as you requested us women to, and read your hub, even voted it UP. You're welcome. I love to read romantic poetry! You're not bad at it.
I think the most romantic one I ever got was this from my husband years ago. It still sits in its frame, actually on my kitchen window sill so I can read it often. He didn't write it, and it's not quite as passionately romantic as the poem you wrote in your hub; it's just a framed saying he bought, but just the fact that he picked it out shows he's got some good taste, and I think it's deeply beautiful.
It's in a clear frame with red roses around the edges; it says---
Because I love you,
I can look at life
with clearer eyes,
And face tomorrow
with a brave heart,
And hold my chin up
with a brand new hope,
And know that I must
finish things I start.
Because I love you,
as seasons come and go.
Well yes... He really did have good taste Brenda, that is a lovely poem and is strong enough to motivate many days. And Now... You have Two poems
If I find that it's been cut out of my page... then I'll know it wasn't mice!
Thanks for the compliment btw.
Aww I like that poem Brenda
Touching and romantic
Strange how disagreeing with you is 'outrageous insulting hateful lewd and harassing'
Well just call me lewd
Does that mean I don't get a cookie?
If I can get two (for being a *really* badass atheist), I'll give you one.
What do I get for being the most tolerant, most diplomatic, and friendliest forum poster - regardless of the topic?
Hmmm....I say take off the tops and bring on the jello!
While I have never participated, I did once watch a mixed nude Jello wrestling match. The wiry gal won. Very embarrassing for the husky male who had challenged her.
Hahaha! I can see how that might kick a guy in the...hubris.
No, she did it with agility and skill. She was small, wiry and strong. She just twisted her way out every time he pinned her and wore him down with superior stamina. It was truly inspiring - I don't think anyone thought she'd win. We gave her a long ovation, believe me.
No, I wouldn't mess with her. A guy could get hurt - physically and pride!
We did used to know a woman friend who would tackle me (both clothed). That was a bit embarrassing too. I COULD have beaten her, but I would have had to hurt her to do it, so I had to get myself thrown to the ground and pinned. Very unfair!
I'll tell you a secret, lewd people always share their cookies! We loves to share, just sometimes more then was asked for!
Oh yeah, If he's christian and if he's harassing non christian people on the forums then by all means support him eh? That's what conservative should do isn't it? Oh wait, isn't that what you say against liberals, or maybe not, sorry. It's gods word to harass non-believers isn't it? You must be sad today hearing his ban news.
So I got curious about my fan mail after reading this (turns out I had a few to approve) and I guess I get to join the club
Lovely piece of fan mail to deny from our friend was waiting for me
Well now that I can join the club I thought I would share my cookies, want one?
Oh! Kirstenblog, that's not fair! You are making my mouth water here!
Brenda - I am normally friendly, polite, tolerant of view contrary to my own, and try to understand where each person is coming from. You will have seen my opinions concerning christian matters and god elsewhere.
I love good humour, think it helps lubricate the world on its axis, and it helps to keep serious matters in perspective.
He is still posting:
Kikilari 23 minutes ago:
Why do you come on here and argue with believers? Why are you do hateful? Why don't you believe in God? What is your problem?

I'm wondering why someone left a comment 'ya big head' on my latest hub..the person had a hubpages account with no profile photo..Ive deleted the comment now so I can't have a closer look at their profile..I don't know why they said this, maybe I sounded too scientific when talking about digital...

Have you encountered a not-so-friendly hubber? How did you deal with him/her?I know there are a lot of awesome people here. But there are still times when we encounter hubbers who are a bit rude. What's your experience?

In which cases would you flag/report someone to Hubpages, or even ask that they be banned? For example, if someone slandered your name, would you flag them? Here is a comment taken from a religious Q&A comment on Hubpages: "Compulsive lying with an inclination towards spreading...

<link snipped>While enjoying my tribute to ImKarn23, I've been dealing with a somewhat awkward sitituation. Someone who calls herself Diva43, left a hateful and horrible comment on my Hub about Imkarn23. This is a purely personal issue but after the many comments left afterwards, I decided to...

Do you approve or deny negative feedback that includes insulting comments on you HubPages?
by Nell Rose 2 years ago
Please, can you bring back the IP addresses at the bottom of the comment boxes when someone makes a comment? We always used to be able to check out where someone comes from after they made a comment. It's okay if the comment is nice, but if we get one that's insulting or even slightly threatening I...
