How can a banned person post?

   This person is banned http://kikilari.hubpages.com/ yet he keeps insulting me in status post on my feed, under where it says who I am following.
   
   How can that be possible?

      It does say so on his profile...Does it take 24 hours like a deleted hub for the ban to start taking effect... not sure just guessing.

   The latest comment to me might give you some example of why he/she was banned.

I am not one of those who go on the forum and insult people for their beliefs but I will stand up to what I believe and I will speak out when people...you...are rude and insulting.       I feel sorry that it came to a ban on Kikilari.  I am the first to say Hurray when a nuisance is no longer bothering us, but for his/her sake I feel it was probably some kind of loneliness causing the problem.  Or maybe someone has filled his/her mind with such fanaticism and bible-thumping that their is no independent thought left.
      
      Either way, that person has now missed out on some socializing with a good diversity of people.

         Not a all, apparently.  This person just became a follower of mine and posted a comment which showed up on my feed.  Not merely a short comment either, but a huge rambling religious bunch of nonsense.  Obviously he/she/it is easily penetrating HPs barriers against such.  Makes one's account here feel secure, eh wot?

      He was already banned, Tony!  Has been for awhile now.  It makes HP look bad but apparently no one is watching the store.  I certainly hope they didn't go off and leave their nuggets unprotected!

      This isn't new, Hattie!  If you read the OP's post it indicates this was first reported by Susan almost 30 hours ago.  HP staff are probably not working today as evidenced by this and other weird happenings taking place this weekend.

          "Religious" people (usually Christians) don't mind if other people participate in a religious thread; it's just that they often have to defend themselves against people who make outrageous insulting hateful lewd or harrassing posts.
          Has nothing to do with free speech from that standpoint, and everything to do with common courtesy and integrity which is sadly lacking from many people.

                Well, I actually did as you requested us women to, and read your hub, even voted it UP.  You're welcome.  I love to read romantic poetry!  You're not bad at it.
                
                I think the most romantic one I ever got was this from my husband years ago.  It still sits in its frame, actually on my kitchen window sill so I can read it often.  He didn't write it, and it's not quite as passionately romantic as the poem you wrote in your hub; it's just a framed saying he bought, but just the fact that he picked it out shows he's got some good taste, and I think it's deeply beautiful.
                
                It's in a clear frame with red roses around the edges; it says---

                                     No, she did it with agility and skill.  She was small, wiry and strong.  She just twisted her way out every time he pinned her and wore him down with superior stamina.  It was truly inspiring - I don't think anyone thought she'd win.  We gave her a long ovation, believe me.
