a bit confused about the contest thread - I thought I saw a phrase that said something to the effect of 'submit your hub answer' here, but then the message comes up when that the posting is overly-promotional. Help! I just want to be sure my recent Hub is entered in the contest and since the blue line outlining the title disappears after writing the title, I'm not sure if it was there in the first place when I started the hub.
I cannot believe it, it's only 8:30am here and I'm already at my limit for questions, with one chomping at my bare fingertips which I think might very well be my best question EVER. Ahhhhhhhh Does anyone know what time the limit cut off drops, realizing I'm EST please post time zone? Thank you all and congrats to all the winners!!!!!!
Hey y'all! Sorry for the lack of clarity with our timing. There are only 28 sets of Daily Drawing prizes, but because people have often missed the final DD cutoff deadline in past contests, we've taken to looking at Hubs for our qualitative prizes (the weekly and final prizes) that have been published as many as 24 hours past the deadline.
So yes- you can submit entries through the 30th at noon, but they will only be considered for the weekly and final prizes; anything published after noon PT today will not have a chance of winning a Daily Drawing prize.
Hope that clears things up! My apologies for any confusion.
Simone - when evaluating the Weekly winners do you look through all entries after the deadline or have you been picking favorites on a day to day basis? The reason I ask is that I've just updated a Hub that I created on March 27!
Now all that is left to announce are the grand prizes on Friday.
Big thanks to everyone who has participated in this contest. Reviewing the Hubs has been an absolute pleasure and privilege. I don't think Questions on HubPages have ever seen such amazing Hub Answers before
Congrats everyone for all of the incredible hubs and inspiring questions that got us all motivated. Then a standing ovation to the winners who have given me so much information for so many new projects.
This contest was truly awesome. We got to read a variety of excellent topics of interest and got to know some excellent hubbers. Congrats to all the winners. I am looking forward to continue reading some great hubs. And the next contest!
Choosing the top three Hub Answers sure was hard, but these Hubs came through as clear leaders once we fully inspected their performance with regard to our judging criteria. Way to go cardelean, leahlefler, and Melovy!
I hope you have enjoyed this contest as much as we did. We've learned a ton, and think that many of the Hub Answers you've published will continue to see traffic and interest for months and years to come.
Thank you everyone for the congrats. I am overwhelmed with excitement and honor that I have won this amazing contest. I was among some incredible competition and I want to congratulate everyone that entered a hub and won a prize along the way.
Even though I wasn't able to participate as much as I would have liked to, I thought the Know it All Contest was an enjoyable contest because it offered something for everyone at all levels. Congratulations to all of the winners-well deserved!
