There's been speculation that the "Penguin" name for Google's new algo update is related to their recent Google Earth doodle, which featured 2 pandas, as well as a penguin. Next in line, if the doodle conspiracy is to be believed, will be the koala!

Hi Bill, I took a pic of a koala when I went to Australia National Zoo! I guess it will give me more G views if they will name the next G update Koala update!
That's dated last year, but it's a cool doodle. Maybe it will be the 'sleeping' lion or the iguana update, G likes to surprise us.

There was a tweet from Matt Cutts announcing a multi-week algorithm update that will last through the week of July 4th. I haven't heard if this is the Panda softening or something else...Just a heads up that it's rolling out.

Is anyone making $500.00 a month or more on HubPages after all the Google changes?Just curious as to whether or not it is still possible to make that kind of money here since the Penguin/Panda stuff went down with Google.

Hey guys, i think HubPages is losing it's rank on Google, i have multiple accounts here and all are experiencing decreased traffic by 50% !!! . Anyone experiencing similar problems? Or did Google introduce any new algorithms?
