I thought it might be fun to see hubbers' different 'traffic stories' since joining. Actual number removed to protect the innocent and respect the TOS. Please add your own! It seems like people have had all kinds of different experiences and I would love to compare and contrast.
This hub is relevant - out-of-date but still fun.

Internet traffic drawings go viral. I can see it now.
Mine are very boring. Panda doesn't seem to know I exist. But then, on Hubpages, neither does Google!
Hubpages:
This is what my traffic looks like when I don't bother much with SEO.
Another article site:
This is what my traffic looks like when I use basic on-page SEO.
And meanwhile, on my blog where I don't worry about SEO, I'm getting another 10,000 visitors a week and making almost zero money on the few ads I've got there. What's wrong with this picture?
Are you a top-rated author on that other site, being promoted by that site at all?
Err... I donno what you mean by "promoted?" I just do my own thing. I've had some years to master and improve "my own thing."
Hubpages is a challenge that I set for myself: can I duplicate that success, and thereby increase my skills? There are barriers on Hubpages which won't let me use some of the techniques that work elsewhere, so that's forcing me to do things differently.
I have no doubt you'll duplicate your success here, Greekgeek, if that's what you want. I understand, a little, from my examinations of the other platforms, that things are set up differently here.
Once I get to a payment a month I will be looking to try another site. It pays to diversify!
I joined Hubpages after the first devastating panda. My traffic has seen wild fluctuations that initially I put down to being a new hubber and to having "young" hubs. However, since this time, the fluctuations have made me feel "drunk" on occasion.

After all the experimentation by HubPages in recent times with a new page layout, playing around with the dates etc., it looks like my traffic has gradually begun to improve in the past few days. The build up is slow, however, and heaven knows whether I will get back up to where I was in...

My traffic sources is showing Hubpages, Google, Yahoo, etc but does not show my web site, which I am sure is active and bouncing visitors back to my articles on Hubpages. Any idea why it does not show up?

I am a little bit confused about how this works. One of my hubs got flagged because I had more than two link cloakers on it. It was flagged for the no more than 2 redirects to the same domain, which I understand, but the cloakers took you to various sites (never the same one). I've seen other hubs...

For a good number of weeks my hubber score has hovered around the 100 mark. Two days ago it started falling, and as I write this, it is down to 89! If this keeps up, it will be 0 in a week! No rhyme or reason to it, but it leaves me wondering why this is happening. I know...

I don’t want to make too big a deal of this. My interactions with editors over the past few years have been very positive and I appreciate their work. There are some excellent people on the HP editorial staff today. However, I think there is always room for improvement, suggestions, and constructive...

1. Change ad placements so they don't interrupt the text. Place ads to one or either side of the text.2. Get rid of Recommended For You ads currently at the bottom of articles. They are undermining the whole site.3. Encourage more transparent dialogue between writers and the HP team. Exchange of...
