Still Waiting

   alright, so I had pinned a Hub, traffic started going good, then poof! unpublished. Fine, I found and removed the 'offense' it's been near what, 3 days and now the weekend nobody reviewed it or what? if there's new violations there's no mention or little (?) to show me.

      Not sure, Did you write them to find out? With all the smileys I had a bit of a time reading your ? but do not mean that bad at all...this is not a Hub...it doesn't matter...keep working at it and I do think you will make it and want to read some of your hubs. take care

   Hi AEvans I had done the corrections, resubmitted and it was sent back, saying some 'stuff of unrelated products and links', but they are related No way a sewing machine is unrelated to 'sewing' all links go to sewing and busienss info so am annoyed.

      If you open the "violation" message on the Hub, it tells you which specific links are the problem.  If you don't agree with the decision, then when you email them back, you need to explain why that specific link is not a problem.  Moderators are human beings, if they see that you have the expertise and you make a good case, they'll change their minds.

   yeah, not a good way to start a weekend though but the weekend is almost over and traffic is up once again so hopefully recover again.

   hi Marisa I did remove the 'offenses' and it still is unpublished and have been waiting. The first time I checked, yes, I read the violations and no idea what n where, 2nd time, there was nothing, just repeat message, 3rd time, violations were typed in the email and corrected. Now I'm still waiting.

   Good luck... have you told them how important Spring/Summer is in your part of the world and how busy you are at this time needing to run around doing real stuff before the 10 months of darkness sets in and provides everyone with a more appropriate time to wait and wait and wait? 
   
   Sheeesh...
   
   And... they make us wait and wait and wait down here too!

   hi Pearld 10 months of darkness isn't that bad. Sun does shine but temp's take time to rise. It's still chilly around here and definitely not swimming season yet. I know our spring/summer season can be short but I love it. Wierd, ok thanks for dropping in. Not sure what's the deal with imposed waiting times, hurts our traffic and links though. Now I have to deal with broken links which I handle with unpublishing the whole article.

    In the same boat, one of my best performing hubs has had the ads turned off as I have alleged got unrelated links or unrelated products. I'll be damned if I can find them as in my mind everything is 100% related. At least it has not been unpublished, but with no adverts it is earning nothing. I don't recall anything in the rules saying that they will turn off your ads if you have unrelated links and products either - is this a new way to punish us hubbers who earn them a few thousand bucks?
    
    I emailed them 3 / 4 days ago but have heard nothing.... nothing to explain exactly what the violation is or anything...Have followed up with another email today... will see if I ever get an answer and if my hub ever gets to start earning again..

    Ho.. Hummm!   People Skills are just so hard to develop..
    when you don't know how,
    or don't believe they are needed,
    or use the absence of them to maintain a level of control over the people (that would actually be greater if you actually had people skills! ),
    or just won't listen to real good sense from the people!
    
    Such practice isn't good for anything!
    Except developing an ever increasing negative environment!

    running around in the dark with a headlight would probably be cool I think waiting periods have long changed since I first arrived it probably cost me links and $$ too now.
