WARNING: This Hub is at risk of being unpublished for linking to prohibited sites

What?!?!? This hub has been on hubpages for 2 yearswith no problems. WTF?
And when I go into edit mode there is no highlighted links as in when there are dead links.

How am I supposed to know which link is prohibited if not highlighted?
    __edited post__________

Oooops - I figured it out, on the account page, with the  red skull is says check  and this is what it says:

Note that the violations listed on this page are limited to those which can be checked by an automated process.

People Users, Abusers, Manipulators & Sociopaths
Links To Prohibited Affiliate or Commerce Sites
        Trust Issues
Links To Malware or Phishing Sites

I think it's bunko that I have to figure out by hand each and every link by deleting it to find out which link is prohibited.  Please highlight the bad link as in dead links.

It's my Number one hit parader and the very first hub I ever made.

I had exactly the same a few months ago on my best performing hub.. they turned off the ads for a week before republishing with no changes..

Now another of my accounts completely unpublished after a moderator review but zero response still after 5 days to explain what the problem is... but that account was already moderated 2-3 months ago and passed as Ok.. I don't think the moderators know what they are doing...

Hello. What type of links are you allowed to share on the hub? I'm a writer and will like to know if I can place one or two of the links of my books on the links section.

Is there a problem with adding personal links like from any social medias on the link section?

      Thanks.

If you click on the top black bar where the warning is it tells you the exact link that is flagged.

At first i didn't know what you were talking about a 'black bar' but then I found out that by click the warning itself, "WARNING: This Hub is at risk of being unpublished for linking to prohibited sites: it drops down to a menu .

      THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know it either until someone told me... it could be more obvious.

Looks like none of your links on that hub work for me. All default to my search engine, because they are unfound.

All are pre-subdomain without your profile address in front. Looks like the HP auto-redirects for this have been discontinued?

At any rate, add in your subdomain to the front and see if that fixes it? smile

Meanwhile, I'm going to go check some of my own earlier hubs...

?????????? Maybe it was because I was in the process of editing???

What the link that was the problem is an RSS feed. I believe that the reason why is political because this is what it says:

Battered Women – The Dilemma of Being Guilty Until Proven Innocent

by Dr. Jeanne King, Ph.D. We are told that one is innocent until proven guilty, as per our Constitution. This premise honors the integrity within each and every human being. However, battered women evolve to live it backwards. They are guilty until proven innocent. I know this from the back of my hand and I [...] - 3 days ago

      Here is the link:

Why this blog from a doctor is all of a sudden a skullface link is beyond my understanding. So I think this is a temporary skullface link and edited it to say " Do not show this capsule" Then in a about a week or so put it back on and see what happens.

If it does become OK in a week or so then I'll be sure that it is a misunderstanding on the title of the blog. I read the blog and it's not the battered women considered guilty by cops. By the title I first thought that men were considered guilty until proven innocent.

Stay tuned next week about this. If still a skullface link then I will ask hubpages to review . I thought it was a quality link.

BTW - to search the offending link in the first place, just go into the html code mode in your browser and search for it.

My browser is firefox and on the upper right hand corner of the window is a little bug icon for Firebug which shows the HTML code and it has a search box to find offending link.

I just noticed the problem. None of your hubpages embedded links have the ".com". That is why they are all failing. smile

And welcome to serendipity. If the one thing hadn't happened, you wouldn't have found out about the other. And Google would eventually have gotten around to being mean to you. big_smile

Why is Hubpages messing with me?!?!?!? It is not possible that Every Single Hub Links were made that way!!!!

OK. I freaked out for  a second. I thought ALL my hubs and ALL links were dead. This is what happens: When your Hub has a skull face, HubPages automatically screws with the skullface hub links until you fix the problem. Even after fixing offending link - still  all links screwed - UNTIL you check for violations agains to remove all the skullfaces from hubs

Hub Violations (last checked: 3 minutes ago)

No violations found. You can recheck your hubs for violations here.

NOW the links on the used-to-be- skullfaced links are working.

            (whew!)

                internet virus??

My links work  _ I see the address in the url but then it get redirected. Why?

AND it ONLY on links that go to OTHER HUB:PAGESs  - glitch? when fix?

Even if I copy the link and put it in the url - it STIILL redirects - Hah! Now I now why people's traffic has fallen to ZERO!!!!

These urls to other hubberss redirect: Even when I add the .com at the ends
                http://hubpages/_0812/hub/Emotional-Abuse
                http://hubpages/_0812/hub/Why-Bad-Relationships-Lead-to-Low-Self-Esteem

But when I search in hubs I get this:
                http://shirleyanderson.hubpages.com/hub … c-violence

so it IS a subdomain problem. Will Hubpages fix this?

I also found strange HP links in your hub, including one to the edit tool.

In addition, the link to a recording from Dante's Inferno did not load the recording, and another link (about dating) gave a server not found message.
