Hello. I just signed up for this site a week or two ago. I haven't published any hubs yet, mostly because I don't really know what to write about. I filled out a profile in the hopes that I could possibly have some help deciding on what to write about based on what I know. Mind helping a newbie out? Thanks (:

      Welcome to HubPages!

The way that I seemingly come up with ideas for hubs is not a lot of elaborate planning, but something in everyday life will inspire a thought, and from that thought I move forward. Start off in notepad just jotting things down, expand upon those thoughts. Check out any photos I may add and have them ready. Many of my hubs were "spur" of the moment hubs, as I call them, inspired as mentioned.  Other hubs have been pretty well planned out over a period of time.

Good luck and best wishes in your writings!

    Welcome to HubPages! smile

There's a lot to write about. Just pick a topic and do a little research on it, learn the pros and cons of a subject and then put it into your own words.

I would suggest reading some other hubs, especially about using HubPages more than writing. Get used to HubPages.

Visit the Learning Center. Read the Terms of Service if you haven't. Read the FAQ's page, if you haven't.

I just joined hubpages a few days ago and found joining the Weekly Inspiration Topic very helpful. This is something that I'm planning on doing each week from now on. Some weeks will be easier than others, but I think the research will be fun and the discipline quite useful.

      Welcome to HubPages!

Research is interesting, and one good thing about when I research is that I ALWAYS am learning new things in the process!

      Good luck and happy hubbing!
