We could tie our adsense account to our avatar...
1. bad idea
2. good idea
3. enough with these ideas already
What say you?
I was thinking that when we link our profiles to other sites it could be an additional way to make cents )
We already have this. When one clicks on the avatar, one is taken to the profile page, which also has an ad on it.
True but if a non hub pages person clicks on the profile from outside of hp we may be able to get cents out of it
If a person from the outside clicked on our profile icon it's because they want to know more about us or to contact us. Sometimes they click over to our other hubs. I think it would be a bad idea to drive users away from our profiles. Our hubs have enough ads on them as they are.
I wish the new hub layout had our avatar on it along with our name. I think our avatars make our brand more recognizable, like a logo. Readers may not remember my hubber name, but I feel like they probably would remember my little dog photo.
How do others feel about this?

I was studying the Authorship Markup on the new profile format that has been released for staff only at this time. I noticed that the HTML link to other profiles is coded as rel="me nofollow". This defeats the purpose of rel="me" for Google authorship markup since...

I know a lot of people will say that this isn't necessary but wouldn't it help reduce spammers. Admit it, most of the people on HP who spam are without a bio and avatar. I know there are some sock pockets that go through the extra trouble to create real-looking accounts but I am sure that after a...

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...
