I'd like to suggest a little feature (perhaps at the end of a comment box) where you can check if you want to Watch This Topic' similar to how blogs have it. Sometimes I make a comment on a hub and the hub owner responds back, or someone else makes an interesting reply and I'm not aware until weeks later (or maybe never). But with the above requested added feature I can get alerts in my inbox for an interesting thread/topic that I want to follow.
( I know we have the feature in the account area where you can see comments that you've made but that's not the same.)
Bookmark hubs you comment on and want to keep tabs on for future reference.
Good idea multimastery, it would make tracking the comments on the hubs you are participating in and contributing too much easier.
It's not exactly what you are looking for, but in your hubtivity you can see new comments on hubs you've commented on (the comment has to occur with 2 weeks of the date of your comment on the hub). Just click, edit preferences, and make sure the box "on hubs that you commented on" is checked. It does not allow you to pick and choose which hubs to follow, however (we'll throw that capability onto our list of potential features though).
Also, I think some people may not be aware of this, but you can limit your hubtivity on that screen to particular classes of activity by clicking on Hubs, Comments, Forum Posts, Requests, Fans, or Admin Actions in the box on the right.

When you receive a comment on one of your hubs, do you always post back with a comment? Or, just when there is something to post back about. For example if someone just comments that it is a nice hub, do I need to comment back to them? Thanks!

Pretty much like one would have it on a blog - with the difference that I am talking about hubtivity here.I had posted a single comment to one of the hubs a while ago. I am not too interested in the topic, just wanted to share my experience and forget. Well, the thing is - for many months this hub...

I had no choice but to start a new thread about the same suggestion as the previous thread was closed for anymore comments before I could post my feedback upon the latest profile layout. It appears nice and quite user-friendly overall, but I must admit I won't be satisfied if my suggestion on the...

We're in the process of testing a new feature called Hubtivity. It provides a running log of what's happening on HubPages with you and the authors (and soon, tags) that you are a fan of.If you notice any bugs or have comments please post them to this thread. In a week or so we hope to...

I have been a member of HubPages for seven months. I have read hubbers with less membership who have more than 1,200 followers. How is that possible? And how can I attract more followers to my "little world" in HubPages?

I posted a comment on another Hubber's hub 2 days ago, and just now, when I checked my Hubtivity, right at the top was the notification I had posted a comment on that hub 71 minutes ago. I knew I hadn't, so went back to the person's hub, and saw my original comment showing as 2 days ago, but the...
