I think there's an issue with CSS. Site is slow to load and it looks like it's a CSS thing.
Here's a fun, recursive looking picture of the problem.
I was getting worried, as none of my HP pages would load properly, and bots are hitting my accounts with 100s of empty hits with zero read time.
I thought HP was under attack!

Uh-oh. Looks like hubs are still squirrelly... Google Chrome.
This happened both on my Android phone and now on my computer (in Google Chrome)...
I had a major panic attack when I went to go approve a comment on a hub and my hub looked like this:
I hope this is a very temporary glitch!
I'm on the East Coast and they look crazy with Chrome and IE.
HP must be working on something. The stats on hubs will not open now. I tried this on several hubs.
I did notice that HP added the last update to hubs.
Yep, everything went squirrelly again here as well.
I can't wait to see what they are coming up with.
Looks like everything ok again. I think I'll start a new hub and not make backups.
Still wacky over here - including the forum. I have a feeling this might take a little while. I clicked on my hub and thought, well THIS is an interesting new look! LOL.
Oh my I am glad I found this post, finally!!! I was having a major panic attack and thought my comp had gone kaput!!!!

Having the same issue, just like I have many times in the past. But this is the first time I see anyone report it. Anyway, I hope HP stops tinkering with whatever they are tinkering with and turns CSS back on.
I just got a foreign language spam that I hadn't seen in awhile. Probably not related, but thought I'd mention it.
And things still keep switching back and forth between ok and not.
I really do think it is time that the HP programming geeks went on holiday and left this site alone!
Nothing of value has been added in the 2 years I have been here. We just get more and more crap stuffed down our throats as well as having the site made unusable while the muck is being uploaded
In the meantime, viewers are leaving HP in droves.
The problem is not the cosmetic appearance of pages. If a page has useful information, how it looks is secondary.
The problem is the spun and spam crap that is constantly being uploaded, which the HP owners consistently refuse to tackle.
oh good, I thought it was just my computer! Wow, this is the second time I've seen this happen. It scared the you know what out of me!!
I thought sure I crashed my own site. This sort of thing can happen on big sites with a lot of traffic. Thanks for fixing it, HP!

I see this problem still isn't over yet. The site is still sluggish; and am still getting error messages. Google Chrome.

Nope, but I get an error message every time I try to comment in a hub :-(

Using Firefox, they are OK, but in Chrome this is what a Topic page looks like right now:None of the Hubs show until you get to the very bottom, past the ad on the left:Google wants to see lots of content above-the-fold, not just links and ads. (Chrome is Google.)

Does anyone has this problem? I try to post two articles and in both cases google chrome will kill hubpages. I needed to try more than 10 times just to get it to post a photograph from my computer. I am wondering if anyone knows why this happens with hubpages.

Has anyone else had this problem.I can open a Hub with Edit button with no problems but then I can't edit the capsules, when I click on the button nothing happens.The when I click the 'done editing' button , also nothing happens and I need to close the page.Any advice?

Is this browser related? I saw them 2 days ago. I'm using FF 16.0.2. I know a more recent version has just been released, but I haven't updated. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Which browser do you use the most and/or which is your favourite?I have 3 different browsers installed on my computer (Firefox, Internet explorer and Chrome) and I use all 3, but my favourite which is I use the most is Mozilla Firefox.What about you?
