Somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong. Is it my subject matter, my writing skills, or what?? Please, any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
I just took a look at your article on how to quit smoking. Frankly, I think your use of language is good, and your info is also good. However, your topic is one that has been beaten to death, which means your work probably is getting lost out there in Searchville. Also, I think that putting things in lists rather than using paragraphs to explain every single detail would help. Internet readers like it quick and simple. A more clever title might help as well.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Thank you TIMETRAVELER2. I will go back and see if I can tweak it. I wasn't aware that I could change the title once published. Thank you again.
I changed the title and got a warning that the hub appeared to be about tobacco. This is so frustrating sometimes....
Well, theoretically, it IS about tobacco and probably you would have gotten this warning sooner or later anyhow. HP is pretty picky when it comes to asking people to adhere to the rules. Sorry about the glitch...but FYI...I once had to get rid of an entire article for this very reason. It's a hard lesson to learn!
I wrote a Hub about the chemicals in cigarettes and I've had that warning since I wrote it. It's a standard thing. As long as you aren't violating the terms of the site, you have no worries.
Hi there, I read your plastic bag ban hub, and it's interesting. The title is nicely search friendly, with 18100 searches per month.
Maybe you can split it in two or three text capsules with subtitles including some keywords like
biodegradable plastic bags (5,400 searches)
recycling plastic bags (12,100 searches)
biodegradable bags (22,200 searches)
banning plastic bags (5,400 searches)
good luck

Why can't I find my latest Hub when I search using any of the words in the title? My latest Hub is about my experiences as a new user at both RedGage and Bubblews. I have tried putting both names in the HubPages search bar and the Hub doesn't show in the results even though the Hub has already...

This hub of mine was Hub of the Day when I had been a member of HubPages for only 6 days. I got plenty of praise for it, and it was quite popular around Christmas time. I really like it, and I like the title of it too. But I don't think Google does. Do you think I should change the title to...

I thought that the order of keywords in a Title did not matter and likewise that the order of keywords entered for a Google Search did not matter. However when you do a search for - Green Tea Health Benefits (A) - and for - Health Benefits of Green Tea (B) - both without quotes the results are...

It seems to me they are. You find out what's searched on the Internet and put it in the title of your article. But it seems to me, some of it is just logic; What will someone likely type into the search engine? No one is going to search for "how to pay attention instead of getting wrapped up...
