I have been trying to add some amazon products to certain hubs and they don't seem to work and I don't know why.
Here's an example of 2 links that I have tried to add to the amazon capsule in HP and they both don't work.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008CB9Z7S
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0071UYQH0
I get the following message in the amazon capsule when I try and link to these products - "The following ASINs could not be found or could not be displayed"
I seem to get this message quite a lot. Does anyone know why or a way around this problem?
Just add the product number and see if that works better for you.
Most often issue with retrieving products is (we're told) something to do with the Amazon feed, but you might want to file a bug report with admin (in the appropriate forum) and see what they say.
I made a post last week on this same issue. Only a certain part of the code snippet should be used and it will work. I'm not sure which forum post I had put it on, but I showed what to do - to fix it. Relache is correct, too much code does get generated
I can be so 'duh' got to be the meds
I found the forum and how I fixed it hope it helps

Thank you relache and dame scribe for trying to help.
I have tried just the product code and I can't get that to work either. I think I will ask in the bug section.
Ok I tried the html code and that seems to have worked. Thx guys, I've had this issue for ages and am just so glad to finally have a solution to the problem!

Why is it that excessive links to Amazon products seem to be permitted when they are added to the body of hub rather than as a Module on the side? In my naivety, I did not realise that this was permitted. Will these links survive when hubs are selected and moved to the niche sites?

Every time I put an Amazon capsule on my articles it gets snipped. I write how it benefits people and how it relates to the article.

Hi all. I have set up Amazon Affiliate program on hubpages and featured Amazon products on a number of my hubs. Looking at it after a while, the link-type report in the Amazon account shows that no one has clicked on the products so far. I wanted to know whether this actually works, so I clicked on...

Hi,I have other accounts here (this is my forum account). So far in the two days of Amazon earnings reports in the new HubPages-linked Amazon products, I only see products listed that I directly linked to. Usually I earn commission from products that were bought using my affiliate links...

I have 4 hubs that are unfeatured, and no matter how I try imporving them, they remain unfeatured. Some of them are high scorers: One of them scored 88 today and yet it is still unfeatured. I can't understand this. Can anyone clue me in.
