   The library can be a death trap for studying. People are often whispering so loudly there's no point to bother whispering at all. Everyone's computer seems to decide to have an overactive cooling fan the second they walk in. No, I always found it to be terribly distracting. If it's an option, I recommend renting out a private study room for a couple hours. Otherwise, you can find it gets irritating pretty quick. Then again, it all can depend on the library.

   I hate going to the library to study. Do you know how much free time I have? Barely enough to clean the house. Driving to the library is just another waste of time. I can access the webpages I need right after class and email all of the information to myself and do the rest at home if I'm doing a research paper. But studying? You can do that anywhere. Before class, driving to or from class, before I go to sleep, during lunch, before some work, etc.

   Studying at the library is okay if I needed to find a book or an article for a project, but I finally learned how to study at home in my apartment.  I had my desk in my room, and I just studied when I told myself to do so.  I think today people are probably too tempted by things like Facebook, which is one of the reasons I am glad it was not around when I was in school.  Just discipline yourself to study at home, and eventually it becomes quite easy.
