Lately, there has been angst about America. There is always discussions and discourses about what is wrong with America. Now let us discuss what is RIGHT about America! Show that you are indeed a PROUD AMERICAN!
Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness for a start - which is not possible in many, if any, other Countries. Freedom of Speech, freedom of religion, freedom to make our own decisions, right to vote, right to not vote. What is truly great about America is the People. The people who came here to start a new life, a better life - the people who know it takes hard work to achieve your goals, who put love, life, family and beliefs in the principles and values that America was founded on and make America great. The people that devoted and sacrificed their lives for this great Country so that the rest of us can live free with the principles and beliefs they knew were worth fighting for.....there are SOOOOO many things that make America great and RIGHT....nothing is perfect, we have made mistakes, but we have learned and grown from them, those that have not need to check back into our history and realize that we are all created equal and we are all Americans and we are all bound to one another - no matter who we are, where we came from or what color our skin might be - we are ALL AMERICANS and we should ALL be proud to be citizens of the BEST Country in the World!
I am proud of Americans who recognize that other countries are great too. And that constant problem solving and improvement prevents stagnation and corruption.
Freedom to make the choices of my own property including the species of pets I want to raise. Oh wait...
Because the United States of America (and one must be clear here, for 'America' stretches from the top of Alaska and Canada down to Tierra de Feugo in sub-Antarctica) is relativity 'free' it is certainly streets ahead of all those nations where 'freedom of speech' let alone freedom of action is frowned upon, and even put down, America is still a wonderful nation in which to live.
Mind you, I haven't lived there. However, there are probably less than a score of nations amount where one has the same sorts of liberties as America, so feel blessed - because you are.

What are the Founding Principles of America?Certainly they are in no way connected to anything religious; for example, freedom of religion is not in any religious text or how about freedom of speech?
