A new bill would require dancers to get a license and 'conspicuously display' it while on the job.
By Kim Peterson 5 hours ago
Texas lawmakers are cracking down on strip clubs. State Rep. Bill Zedler has authored a bill requiring exotic dancers to get a license -- and wear the document while performing.
Asking strippers to get licensed is nothing new. Several cities in America already have that requirement. But Zedler is getting attention for his suggestion that the dancers "conspicuously display" the license -- with their real names on it -- while working.
Does any one really care is their stripper is licesed or not?
I'm sure this will create a demand for artistically rendered stripping licenses with annual addendum...
As long as they don't cover the best parts, guess I don't care if they have one or not!
I think it should be recognized that the goal is to frighten women out of stripping because anyone watching would have their name and address. Which, in most strip clubs, would not be safe.

I've heard that there's a politician who proposed that marriage license, like any other licenses should be renewable after one year. so you may or may not marry the same person the following year. is this idea ridiculous or does it make sense to you?
