Good for you! I just went back outside and the clouds have rolled in. I thought I was going to get to watch it right from the yard.

Nice! It was white when it came out of the shadow; I didn't get any form of the blood moon.

Thank you, Ryan Dot and ChitrangadaSharan. The photo does look clear on this small version, but on the large version it is pixelated. I haven't tried to clean it up yet.

Why do clouds go behind the sun and the moon?Something's not right! If the sun and moon are as far away as NASA says, then how come clouds that are associated with Earth are seen behind the sun and moon?... And No, it's not an illusion. How can our clouds get behind the sun that is supposedly 92.96...

Who is planning to watch the blood moon lunar eclipse tonight?I'm going to try and watch it -3AM EST- but we have a very cloudy sky tonight, so not sure if the view will be much. Anyone else going to try and see it?
