Parents: If you could pick the "perfect teacher" for your child, what type of teacher would they be? Methods? Style? Personality? Who would be your child's ideal teacher?
The perfect teacher would: 1. Value child as a whole person, not as a vessel into which one pours and then tests the level of water achieved. 2. The teacher would understand the many consequences of a range of variables that impact a child in the school experience. 3. Like and have comfortably appropriate boundaries with children, a high level of integrity. 4. Most of all, a teacher who loves to teach and who understands the most important lesson for any child or student, is to LOVE TO LEARN. If this can be accomplished, every thing else will follow. I don't feel our current school system in the United States in headed in a very good direction.
the teachers are to move out of their traditional method of teaching they have more complex role to play to be the best of the lot.they have to be diagnostician, decision maker, cooperative ,strategist ,a manager,a guide , a resourceful person and an evaluator

One of the hardest things to do as a parent is to look at the school situations your child gets into and see both sides of the issue. Being able to value both sides of the story is an important ability, and one that many parents fail to do well. That includes educators who are parents as well. Our...

Hey all,In my time as a teacher here in Ohio, I've talked to many teachers. Just about everyone agrees: Some kids excel, some kids don't. It has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, culture, or anything else. It's just that some kids are hard-wired to excel in study and some aren't.But to say this...

Without a doubt, parents have a strong influence on their children. They are the first faces they see in the morning and the last faces they see at night. However, this doesn’t by no means minimize the influence teachers possess as well. Some instructors spend more waking hours with children than...
