   With our ability to think and improve our environment, it follows that we are the worst and the best, depending on our choices. 
   
   We should be proactive, and try to improve the human condition, but it does seem that for every step forward, we take two back. 
   
   That doesn't mean we are not to keep trying...we were given the ability to be the best and if we use our energies for co-existing in peace with each other, instead of destroying ourselves and those who are different, we'd do better with our responsibility.

   Define "worst." Humans have prospered with high levels of intelegence,  but we have also made it harder for others to prosper whether they were meant to or not.

   Worst for whom? We are pretty bad to Mother Earth and the rest of the animals who live on this planet like us but we are selfishly good to ourselves ....

   Humans have to be the worst creatures that ever lived on this earth.  All other creatures live to reproduce and enhance the planet.  They use what they need and nurture the rest, unlike humankind. I wish I had something good to say about humanity, in relation to the earth, but in all honesty, I can't. I believe our intelligence level is to blame for this. Humanity has been enabled with a vast amount of intelligence, which ironically, will be our downfall.  Just because you can, does not mean that you should.  Our quest for ever evolving technology and the love of financial gain will, no doubt, be the death of us. We are damaging the earth, our very lifeline, in many ways. This damaging of the atmosphere is currently being resolved by debating whether or not this damage is actually taking place.

   I think  the human race is the earth's parasite, virus, bacterium or any other name that belongs in this group.
   We are destroying this wonderful planet called Earth. Some where in the future it will take back what it has given us freely.
   The greed of mankind is what destroys everything.
